Michael wanted to upgrade his big Frisch Wilga with 3.2m. Even with big models it doesn't always need a full set of lighting to set an accent. This project shows this impressively. Equipped with our new, small Light Driver 3.0 and two large Iris landing lights, the Wilga now looks like a real man carrying machine. Michael tells us that the lights can be seen well even at 1000m above ground. With our software Light Cockpit he could easily program the desired on-off function. In the future, for example, an extension with a Wig-Wag function could be realized without any problem. Thanks to the temperature controlled and heat sink free design of the Iris, Michael was able to integrate the landing lights optimally with a self-made 3D print part in the wing.
